Motu Novu seeks a virtual assistant fluent in American English who will work remotely as an independent contractor to support the firm’s partners in several day-to-day activities, as well as perform certain marketing and business development duties. Occasional, optional international travel to the EU and to the USA.

What You Do

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of working in an international, distributed professional services firm.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Motu Novu’s service offering and client base.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of administrative operations, compliance, accounting, HR, and finance.
  • Provide personal and operational support to the firm’s partners.
  • Help manage the inbound and outbound documentation flows.
  • Research markets, products, consumer behavior, and competitors.
  • Assist in the planning, development, and deployment of new physical goods e-commerce stores.
  • Perform operational marketing tasks.
  • Provide pre- and post-sale e-commerce customer support via email, ticket, chat, and telephone.

What You Need

  • Confident, poised, and outgoing personality, in both internal and external interactions.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills in (American) English.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated willingness to study, learn, and carry out tasks in a dependable manner.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools.
  • Bona-fide setup as an independent contractor.
  • Optionally, familiarity with the GNU/Linux operating system (any distro.)
  • Optionally, working knowledge of Shopify, MailChimp, Stamps.com, and/or other related tools.
  • Successful completion of background check.
